5 Things to Help You Transition from Winter to Spring on PEI

Yes, it can be a little rainy and a tad uneventful, but April on PEI is more than just another month.

April is the perfect month for outdoor activities, trying something new, and spring cleaning. Let us help make your transition from season to season a bit smoother with these PEI inspired tips.

1. Try something new.

The Island is known for our local products and PEI Burger Love starts April 1st. Dive into all things local! Try out a new restaurant, a new burger, and a new beer, we’re sure you’ll love the pairings and with over 60 restaurants participating the only problem you’ll have is deciding where to go first!

2. Get outside.

Victoria Park is beautiful in April. Actually, anywhere outside on PEI is beautiful when the temperature is not in the minuses!

3. Keep rubber boots in your car.

This is a necessity on PEI — you never know when you’ll be travelling down a red dirt road and your car needs a little push to get out of a muddy rut!

4. Enjoy new music.

Spring is all about renewed life… and what’s more lifelike than enjoying new music? Check out the listings at The Confederation Centre of the Arts or The Guild. There is plenty to choose from, from big names from away to super-talented local bands!

5. Spring cleaning is key.

Clean out your house, apartment, and life – start from scratch! If you find yourself overwhelmed, get out of that cluttered house for the night and check out one of our great packages!
